The hike from Cipressa follows a stretch of the coastal path, the Ligurian route of the Santiago de Compostela trail, which is particularly impressive here due to the dense Mediterranean vegetation and the sweeping view of the sea, which on clear days reaches as far as Corsica and the Antibes coast! We visit an important site included in the European Union's Habitats Directive, characterised by the most easterly home range of the shy occulted lizard and by the presence of an ancient aqueduct built to irrigate crops called a 'beodo'. The surprises continue in the village, where local farmer, Maura awaits us in a beautiful tavern to taste her cheeses and delicious homemade products made with the help of her precious cows!!!! A final visit to the village before returning will provide us with picturesque views, baroque churches and towers that recall the atmosphere of the past!

Not suitable for first-time trekkers – recommended for those with previous experience due to the length of the trek.
